Terms of service

These terms apply to orders placed on ombriel.com. We are VAT-registered; prices include VAT.

Orders - An order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send the dispatch confirmation. We may refuse or cancel an order if the goods are unavailable, the price was shown incorrectly, or we suspect fraud. In that case we refund any payment taken.

Prices and payment - Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken when you place the order.

Delivery - Orders are dispatched within 1 to 2 days and delivered within 4 to 6 days. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

Cancellation, returns and warranty - See the Refund policy. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Use of the product - The umbrella is designed for personal use in rain and sun. It is not designed for use during severe weather warnings, as a walking aid, or by children without supervision. The ring handle is for hanging the umbrella, not for supporting weight.

Liability - We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms or our negligence. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law.

Law - These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. This does not affect your right to bring a claim in the courts of your own UK nation of residence.
